Dinner in The Dark 

After successful previous editions we return in November 2025 with our unique experience: Dinner in The Dark, also known locally as Bikken in ’t duuster. Together with a talented chef and a beautiful venue in Groningen we present an evening focused on taste, surprise and heightened senses.

What is Dinner in The Dark?

During this three-course dinner you eat in complete darkness. With sight removed, your other senses sharpen: smell, taste, hearing and touch gain a new dimension. The evening offers astonishment, engaging conversation and unforgettable flavour moments — a true once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Collaboration and venue

In collaboration with De Leijhoeve we create an evening that is both culinary and meaningful. The Groningen venue has been chosen to provide the intimacy and calm required for this experience.

Who is it for?

Everyone is welcome: couples, friends, families or colleagues. It is an ideal shared experience and larger groups can request a private date by arrangement.
