Groninger Museum Night '25

The ninth edition of the Groninger Museum Night is on Saturday, September 20th, 2025!

Museums in the city of Groningen will once again open their doors for a vibrant evening full of art, culture and fun. During the Groninger Museum Night, culture lovers can enjoy exhibitions until well after midnight – but also music, workshops, lectures, dance and poetry. So far, every edition of the Groninger Museum Night has been sold out.

From crochet workshops to drag king performances on historic ships, from Groningen language courses to Waacking workshops, and from cabaret to beer yoga. All of this is part of the Groninger Museum Night. 

About the Groningen Museum Night
The Groninger Museum Night is a collaboration between the Groninger Museum, Museum aan de A, GRID Graphic Museum, Forum Groningen/Storyworld, University Museum Groningen, Noorderlicht and the Synagogue Groningen. There is close cooperation in the programming with USVA, Noorderpoort and Groninger Kerken/Akerk.

Ticket sales

During the Groninger Museum Night, you can visit all 7 museums in the city of Groningen with one ticket. A ticket costs just €13,50, but order yours quickly as they will sell out. 

You can exchange your ticket for a wristband, starting September 18th. This is possible (during opening hours) at Forum Groningen, Groninger Museum, Groningen Synagogue and the University Museum Groningen.
