Trompsingel 27, 9724 DA GroningenKingfishr’s atmospheric folk-pop and catchy melodies quickly made them a crowd favourite in Ireland and the UK. They sold tens of thousands of tickets in no time and scored a hit with the single ‘Killeagh’. With influences from U2, Hans Zimmer and Ben Howard, combined with their Irish roots, they create a distinctive Kingfishr sound that’s hard to ignore. Earlier this year they already impressed Groningen during ESNS, now they’re back for their own show at De Oosterpoort.
