Kruissingel, 9712 XH GroningenBluegrass might not be the first thing you think of from a group of conservatoire students. And yet this quartet makes beautiful traditional bluegrass mixed with jazz and folk.
Bluegrass from the conservatoire
The band consists of Frank Homma on guitar, Robin Borsboom on bass, Edwin Versprille on banjo and Jeffrey Blok as vocalist and on mandolin. They are inspired by Nick Drake, Tony Rice and Billy Strings, and you can hear it!
