Main program with Edith Bosch and Dai Carter
With Edith Bosch and Dai Carter as the main speakers, 2024 promises to be a special edition of ‘The Night of Philosophy’ at the Martinikerk in Groningen. These titans will discuss the theme ‘How do you set the bar?’ Dai Carter (ex-commando) is known from the TV program ‘Kamp van Koningsbrugge’, and Edith Bosch gained fame as the winner of the survival show Expeditie Robinson in 2013, but had already earned her stripes as an ex-judo athlete (with world titles and Olympic medals). After the main program, you can choose from one of the workshops or the cabaret performance, followed by a central closing and social gathering.
Workshop ‘Discover Your Bar’
The workshops focus on meaning, personal growth, and mental health (for young people). Practical tools will be provided for development in this area, led by Els van Dijk. She is an experienced educator with a warm heart for young people.

Cabaret ‘The Suspicion’ by Christiaan Jelsma
Christiaan Jelsma humorously presents what life is really about in this unique performance. Life is full of expectations around relationships, family, and health. But what if things don't go as you expect?

Workshop Mental Health, Continuing to Raise the Bar
Drs. Anne van Lammeren (member of the board at Fier and psychotherapist and psychiatrist at UMCG) discusses the theme of stress management and stress in student life. She provides practical tools on how to handle stress and combines this with scientific insights.
