Winne

Winne is one of the true pioneers of the Dutch hip-hop scene. You might know the Rotterdam rapper from the supergroup Great Minds, but of course also from his many hits such as W.I.N.N.E. and Lotgenoot.

In 2008, Winne appeared seemingly out of nowhere. He leaked the track Top 3 MC and immediately put himself in the spotlight. In 2009, his debut album Winne Zonder Strijd was released, featuring hits like W.I.N.N.E. and Alles Wat Ik Wil. Together with Jiggy Djé, Sticks and Dr. Moon, Winne made history in 2013 with the supergroup Great Minds.

Winne is not only a pioneer but also an inspiration for new talent, which he actively supports. This year he released Mssyeh, an album that reflects on the loss of his brother Feis, after working on it for a long time.
