Her songs are raw and honest, written from her own experiences, memories, and emotions. She grew up in the small town of Blönduós, surrounded by the rugged Icelandic landscape. At the age of seven, she composed her first piece of music, inspired by a snowstorm battering the windows of her childhood home. She has a deep connection with nature and is inspired by artists such as Philip Glass and Thom Yorke.
She now has millions of streams and has become a prominent voice in neoclassical music. In 2021, she was named one of the “Artists On The Rise” by The Line Of Best Fit. After releasing her debut album Bylur, she played at the ARTE Concert Festival in Paris and sold out her first headline show at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
