On Saturday, November 1, 2025 (*), the National Nature Workday will take place. IVN Noord-Groningen will participate again this year.
We will be sawing branches with bow saws and pruning saws, and we are looking for people to help drag the branches away. It’s not only hard work, but also a social event with time to relax and chat with each other.
Schedule
- Arrival: 9:00 AM
- Working hours: 9:15 AM – approx. 2:30 PM
- Location: Uithuizerweg in Uithuizermeeden (Sietse Buurma's plot)

You can also sign up for only the morning or only the afternoon.
What to Bring
- Wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for outdoor work.
- Bring work gloves if you have them.
- Bring your own food and drinks.
Note: If there are still many leaves on the trees on November 1, the event may be postponed to a later date in November.
