Tussen de Mazen - Theatrical Reading

On January 23 and 24, the new performance by Bruckman Projecten premieres at the Machinefabriek. Writer and creator Nic Bruckman has nearly finished the script. Before taking the final version into rehearsals, he wants to test his material with an audience. Take this chance to read along with the script as it stands and help Nic prepare for rehearsals!

In Tussen de Mazen, two men meet at sea. One is a fisherman, the other is involved in a criminal organization — or maybe it’s the other way around. They rely on each other but do not truly know who the other is. What starts as a transaction becomes a meeting. What sounds like a thriller turns into a search. For trust. For power. For something that resembles love. The sea is empty, but everything moves. Between the waves, between the lines, between the meshes of the net.
