2. Easter Egg Hunting at Museum Borg Verhildersum
On Easter Monday, April 6, 2026, children can try their luck at Museum Borg Verhildersum in Leens. Searching for Easter eggs here has become a tradition for many families. Children are divided into different age groups and get to hunt for Easter eggs in the beautiful castle garden. Younger children get their own search area in the inner courtyard, while older children search for eggs along the outer moat of the castle.
The activity starts at 11:00 and children can search for hidden chocolate eggs between 11:00 and 12:00. The Easter Bunny also hides large, brightly coloured plastic eggs, each containing a hidden number. At 12:00, prizes are awarded to the lucky hunters!

Looking for Easter eggs with a modern twist? Head to Landgoed Ennemaborg in Midwolda on Monday, April 6, 2025! The Easter Bunny has hidden eggs across this beautiful estate, but they're so well hidden that you'll need a GPS device to find them. In small groups or families of 5 to 7 people, you set off on an adventure with a GPS device to find the eggs. Each time you find an egg, you receive a code, and with all the codes you can reach the final destination. This is an exciting and adventurous way to hunt for Easter eggs!

Follow the yellow ribbons through the park behind the manor, where the Easter Bunny has hidden large eggs. Each egg contains a letter and a number. Children can note down their answers on a special form available at the coach house. They can hand in their completed form to the Easter Bunny on the forecourt in exchange for a small surprise!
