Alexandra Alden

Alexandra Alden creates a captivating blend of indie folk and shimmering pop driven by synthesizers and guitars, a sound that directly reflects her British-Maltese roots. On stage, her music unfolds like an intimate conversation, a reminder that even in times of brokenness something radiant can emerge.

Born into an artistic family, Alden combines a strong folk heritage with undeniable Mediterranean warmth. It is the music of a life in constant motion – a nomad by chance or by fate – where songs are born in the transitions between countries, homes and chapters, capturing the raw, uncertain beauty of impermanence.

Alden’s journey has taken her to many places across the globe. These places have shaped her songs, which ask bold, searching questions — from the heartfelt explorations of Leads to Love (2021) to her award-winning album Wild Honey (2018). Now, inspired by author Sylvia Plath, her upcoming album When Is It Too Late? dives even deeper, reflecting on the weight of choice and transformation as survival.
