Groningen Sail,  the Mini Delfsail

From June 6 to 8, join us for GroningenSail, a quay festival dedicated to the residents of Groningen. This event, organized in collaboration with and commissioned by the Municipality of Groningen, serves as a prelude to the spectacular Delfsail, which will take place from June 13 to 16.

7 & 8th of June Groningen Sail

On Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8, there is a vibrant program lined up for both residents and visitors of the city of Groningen and surrounding areas. The A-quarter (Hoge der A) will be transformed into a maritime setting reminiscent of the famous Winterwelvaart. 

The quay will be adorned with historic ships and bustling with entertainment. The festival's theme focuses on energy transition and hydrogen, reflected in the plans and showcases on display. At the event square (at the start of Hoge der A), visitors can explore innovations in energy transition and engage in interactive activities.

The Market of Groningen Sail

Along the quay, there will be a market with approximately 30 stalls, and we are seeking a diverse array of offerings. A connection to maritime, artisanal, or circular (reuse and second-hand) themes is preferred. If you are creative with fashion, product reuse, handmade home accessories, jewelry, clothing, or artisanal regional products, reserve your spot quickly!
