Iraq war, 2006. A US Navy SEAL unit is holed up in the home of an Iraqi family for a dangerous mission in Ramadi. With snipers, the soldiers monitor all movements of the ‘enemy’ in minute detail, yet they fail to prevent a major ambush. Under heavy fire, the operation gets completely out of hand, resulting in serious injuries. As the soldiers pull out all the stops to keep the wounded alive and desperately wait for rescue, their situation becomes increasingly dire: how long can they hold out?
Based on the memories of Iraq veteran Ray Mendoza, who wrote the screenplay and co-directed the film with Alex Garland (Civil War). The cast consists of a new generation of promising actors, including Joseph Quinn (Gladiator 2), Will Poulter (Midsommar) and Cosmo Jarvis (Shōgun).
