An evening full of raw guitars, sizzling drums and... Taylor Swift. That’s right, Taylor like you’ve never heard her before – from ‘All Too Well’ to ‘So High School’; energy, emotion, and nostalgia in an explosive live show by none other than Call It Off – the flag bearers of the Dutch pop punk scene. Call It Off hardly need an introduction anymore; since their formation in 2013, the band has rocked every venue and festival with their pop punk.

But who was that woman staring at you all night from the drummer’s bass drum skin again? Taylor Swift! A name that’s come up frequently in interviews with the band over the years. Turns out the love for Taylor wasn’t just limited to band member Sergei. Her music is often heard in the tour van or when the band is chilling together before shows. During one of those moments, the seed was planted; they decided to record a short cover. “We thought it was so cool that we shared it on social media.”

A flood of likes, hearts, and requests for more Taylor covers quickly overwhelmed the band. Fresh off a tour promoting their own album “Not Another Sad Album”, this autumn is now all about Taylor; in November & December, Call It Off will tour through Belgium and the Netherlands with their “Eras Tour goes pop punk.” An evening packed with Taylor songs, but Call It Off-style; reworked versions of Taylor’s hits with raw guitars, pounding drums, and an infectious amount of energy.
