Eric Andersen – Dance of Love and Death Tour

Eric Andersen, known from the Greenwich Village scene of the 1960s, is releasing his first new album of original songs in over twenty years. Dance of Love and Death appears as a double album and forms the core of his new tour.

Andersen made his name with timeless songs such as Thirsty Boots, collaborated with Lou Reed and Bob Weir, and was covered by Dylan, Fairport Convention and Ronstadt. On stage he opts for simplicity: one voice, one guitar, stories. His latest work sounds raw, direct and honest, full of reflection, melancholy and a touch of wit. In Groningen he will perform with producer/guitarist Steve Addabbo and his wife Inge Andersen: the American singer-songwriter travelled the world but has now found peace in Ede, the Netherlands, where he wrote his new album.
