New Zealand singer Marlon Williams returns to Europe for the first time since 2022 with his band The Yarra Benders. Together they will perform songs from his latest album, Te Whare Tīwekweka, and favorites from his extensive repertoire. The album, the first all-original Māori-language album to reach number one in New Zealand, was recorded with The Yarra Benders and accompanied by the documentary Ngā Ao E Rua – Two Worlds.

Williams (Kāi Tahu, Ngāi Tai) is known for his exceptional voice and his ability to move effortlessly between folk, country, and pop. His music evokes the spirit of Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, and Elvis Presley, yet remains unmistakably his own. Since his debut in 2015, he has become a globally acclaimed artist, touring with Bruce Springsteen, Florence + The Machine, and Lorde, and appearing on television shows like Later… with Jools Holland and NPR’s Tiny Desk.
