Listen how the conductor and the orchestra rehearse part of that week’s concert program. Public rehearsals are free of charge and last from 12:00 to 12:30.
Jazzy pieces are a special challenge for a symphony orchestra. After all: It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing. The NNO knows what to do with it, it turns out. And certainly under the leadership of conductor Garrett Keast, a specialist in the field of swing repertoire.
