Ploughing Digital Landscapes
Kunstpunt Groningen
Trompsingel 27a, 9724 DA GroningenPloughing Digital Landscapes
Online exhibition organized by WILLOW Online Art Space
The exhibition is the result of a residency program exploring how digital spaces can reshape our relationships with the more-than-human world. During the residency, WILLOW invited artists Anna Musikhina and Jurel Bakker to experiment with digital media as tools for connection, reciprocity, and rewilding. The goal was to move beyond preservation and control, fostering curiosity, care, and mutual learning.
The residency included research and creative phases organized by WERC and Ecodorp Land van Aine, where the artists engaged directly with regenerative practices and local communities. Over several weeks and across different landscapes in Groningen and Ter Apel, they developed new interactive digital experiences, inspired by the question: what if online space could become a theater for alternative ways of engaging with the living world?
The virtual exhibition Ploughing Digital Landscapes brings together the works in an immersive digital space where visitors can experience more-than-human entanglements through play and technological mediation.
Join us for the opening on November 1 from 14:00 to 17:00 (location in Groningen to be announced). Experience the exhibition, discover the artists’ process and inspiration, and enjoy refreshments while socializing.
