The King’s Singers and VOCES8 are two of the world’s very best a cappella ensembles. When these take the stage together, an extraordinary evening awaits, to say the least. In 2024, the two top British choirs gave their first joint concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall, which was completely sold out with five thousand seats. It became a legendary BBC Proms concert. “A choral supergroup is born,” wrote The Times the next day. All the more reason to reunite The King’s Singers and VOCES8 for a one-time tour of five concerts in Belgium and the Netherlands, which will also visit Groningen on Saturday, March 28.

In the program STARS you will hear timeless classical works and stunning contemporary adaptations, with which both ensembles cover the full spectrum of choral singing at the very highest level. From historic, sixteenth-century masterpieces by Palestrina, through new arrangements such as The Second Star to the Right from the Disney film Peter Pan to folk singer Kate Rusby’s Underneath the Stars and much more.
