Eikemaheert

Eikemaheert is an organic farm of nearly 30 hectares, located between Stedum and Loppersum in the Groningen Eemsdelta. Owners Piet Glas and Angela Rijnen have been committed to sustainable agriculture with attention to nature, culture, and history since 2017. They combine arable farming, fruit cultivation, meat chickens, and flowers with the cultivation of the 'lost' pea, the Wonder of Scheemda. Additionally, they offer vegetable subscription boxes through their Tuinderij Eikemaheert, providing local, seasonal vegetables to their members.

Their products are available for purchase in their farm shop, which is open every Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00. Here, you can find organic apple juices, fresh garlic, jams, honey, flour, pasta, and cider.
