In 2019, best friends Sarah Dekker (Moonloops) and Cath Harryvan (Bad Luck Baby) started writing little songs in their dorm room. Catchy pop songs with impressive vocal harmonies soon emerged, inspired by Americana music, the 1970s and contemporary artists such as First Aid Kit and Sabrina Carpenter.

Amonia Caramel began as a duo, but has since grown into a six-piece formation in which the energetic live show is central. Three years after their first, self-titled EP, Amonia Caramel will release their highly anticipated album in 2025. It is a collection of stories about love, loss and the transience of life.
