Slowcore indie and post-rock
After years of silence, the Groningen-based indie pop band Audiotransparent is back in full swing. Since their formation in 2002, the band has impressed with a mix of Americana, pop, and rock.
Their earlier releases, including the EP Nevland (2005) — named after FC Groningen striker Erik Nevland — and the full-length album Chekhov Guns (2009), showcase a band unafraid to experiment while staying true to their melodic core.
The evening will be completed by their friends from Utrecht, The Fire Harvest, a band that has comfortably lingered for over 20 years in the space between slowcore and alt-country. After a few years in a dormant phase, they now return with new material. For fans of Songs: Ohia, Low, and Neil Young.
