Borokov Borokov: A Unique Formula

If anything could be called Borokov Borokov’s formula, it is probably distilled from the following quote: “First and foremost, we make music we ourselves want to dance to — even when the music in question doesn’t immediately sound like dance music.”

The result can sound like angular synthpop, unfit-for-work hi-NRG, krautrock with a double ‘t’, supra-Freudian electropunk, birthday-themed acid house, no no wave, a polyphonic panic attack, or multilingual lamentation.

As if the band seizes a new chance with each track to break free from the constraints of their own framework, without any guarantee of success. Their first drum machine was, by the way, found on a dumpster in Borsbeek.
