Provocative black comedy that marked the international breakthrough for Yorgos Lanthimos (Poor Things). Won the Prix Un Certain Regard in Cannes and was nominated for an Oscar.

Father, mother and their three children live on the edge of a city. There is a high fence around the house, where the children have never been outside. They are raised, entertained, bored and trained according to their parents' rules, without any outside influence. The children believe that airplanes flying overhead are toys and zombies are yellow flowers. The only one allowed into the house is Christina, a security guard at father's company. He arranges her visits to satisfy his son's sexual needs. The whole family loves her, especially the eldest daughter. One day, Christina gives her a headband with stones that glow in the dark. She asks for something in return.
