Exhibition: Ode to Nature

Reinder Bleeker, Brenda Hardijk, Gerald Schuil, Jeanet Schipper and Jintiene Zeilstra are inspired by the strength and vulnerability of nature. Through their paintings and ceramics, each artist pays tribute in their own personal and unique way.

Gerald Schuil, Reinder Bleeker and Jintiene Zeilstra translate their observations of landscapes, light and seasons into paintings where growth, movement and colour play an essential role. From delicate structures and quiet places to bold gestures and vibrant tones.

Jeanet Schipper and Brenda Hardijk work with natural materials, creating ceramics that express what inspires them. This results in stylised forms as well as pieces that still carry the tangible textures of earth and clay.

In this exhibition, paintings and ceramics complement and strengthen one another. The works invite visitors to pause, reflect on the beauty of life and landscape, and experience the connection between people and nature.
