Memes seem light-hearted, but appearances can be deceiving: they can be powerful weapons in forming and spreading ideas. In this third year that Noorderzon is examining memes, we focus on the political side of visual language. How are far-right and far-left memes used to normalize radical ideas? And what happens if you don't get the joke - because you're outside the bubble?
