Nabil Aoulad Ayad & Metropole Orkest – Unique Show

The talented and humorous Nabil Aoulad Ayad presents a unique show together with the world-famous Metropole Orkest. This surprising collaboration blends cabaret and orchestral music into a one-of-a-kind performance full of humour, beatboxing and razor-sharp observations. Multi-talent Nabil Aoulad Ayad moved from Waalwijk at eighteen with a drive to do something big. Soon after, in 2006, he won the national beatbox title, toured with ISH Dance Collective and even had Alexander Pechtold beatbox on Dutch TV show De Wereld Draait Door. He is also known for roles in TV series such as Onderweg naar Morgen and as a youth presenter. In 2015 he broke through in the cabaret world via the Leids Cabaret Festival, with solo programmes such as Monopoly (2018) and Nee, precies daarom (2024). As a comedian he transforms vulnerability into sharp jokes.

The world-famous Metropole Orkest has been nominated for a Grammy no fewer than 24 times and has contributed to 4 Grammy-winning productions. With a diverse repertoire including jazz, pop, cabaret, film and world music, they reach a large audience. The Metropole Orkest has already collaborated with world-famous artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Brian Eno, Within Temptation and Gregory Porter.
