Trompsingel 27, 9724 DA GroningenSaxophonist Scott Hamilton is known worldwide for his unique and compelling playing style, which was partly shaped by trumpeter Roy Eldridge throughout his illustrious career. After years of trying out different instruments, he definitely chose the saxophone when he landed in New York. There he shared the stage with jazz legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, Dave McKenna and Rosemary Clooney, and more recently with young jazz stars like Andrea Motis and Joan Chamorra.
