Snow Patrol returns to Groningen: an evening of anthems in Stadspark

Last February, Snow Patrol impressed with a sold-out Ziggo Dome show. This time, the band—best known for emotional evergreens like Chasing Cars, Run, Just Say Yes, and Called Out in the Dark—returns for a performance in Groningen.

Formed in Dundee in 1994 and led by frontman Gary Lightbody, Snow Patrol broke through with Final Straw (2003), now certified five-times platinum. The hit single Run brought nationwide recognition and placed the group at the forefront of the post-Britpop movement.

Over the course of their career, Snow Patrol have won seven Meteor Ireland Music Awards and received nominations for six BRIT Awards and a GRAMMY. Last year they released the aptly titled UK No. 1 album The Forest Is The Path, which garnered widespread acclaim.

This Snow Patrol show is a collaboration between MOJO and SPOT Groningen and is part of Summerstage, a series of large-scale concerts that usher in the summer at Groningen’s Stadspark.
