Humanitas Groningen is the largest regional branch of the national Humanitas association in the Netherlands. With nearly 2,600 volunteers, they support around 8,000 people each year—including 3,000 informal caregivers—by helping them regain control of their lives.
They offer assistance in areas such as parenting, loneliness, detention support, loss, home administration, and caregiver support.
Humanitas Groningen also regularly organizes information sessions, events, and volunteer opportunities, and relies on donations and memberships to keep their programs running.
